Job summary

Equal Ventures in New York, NY is seeking an MBA intern with experience in insurance/insurtech to support the Founder/Managing Partner on research and diligence in the insurance space, with select opportunities to work directly with our portfolio companies. Interns should plan to come to the office at least one day a week, with a minimum workload of 15 hours per week.

The candidate should be hungry and sharp, able to think rigorously about markets, and be ready to roll up their sleeves.

Qualifications

• MBA student pursuing degree in business or related field
• Experience in insurance/insurtech is required
• Strong research and diligence capabilities
• Willingness to commit 15+ hours per week

Equal Ventures is seeking an MBA intern with experience in insurance/insurtech to support Rick Zullo (Equal's Founder / Managing Partner) on research and diligence processes in the insurance space, with select opportunities to work directly with our portfolio companies. Interns should plan to come to the office at least one day a week (ideally more if possible), with a minimum workload of 15 hours per week. Previous Equal interns have progressed to roles within our firm as well as to other investment roles at firms like General Atlantic, Insight, Nyca and Bessemer.

Who we're looking for

Someone hungry, sharp, and excited about early-stage investing, thinking rigorously about markets, and rolling up their sleeves. Prior startup, operating, or investing exposure is a plus but not required; experience in insurance and/or insurtech is required.

• A small stipend will be provided.
