Job summary

Intuit is offering a 12-week summer internship within the Emerging Talent Program in San Diego. The MBA Strategic Sourcing Intern, Technology will drive complex sourcing projects across software, hardware, and technology-related categories, collaborating with multiple teams to optimize total cost of ownership and drive business transformation within IT.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, managing RFPs and proofs of concept, and leading vendor negotiations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and expected graduation date after internship ends.
• 1-3 years of strategic sourcing experience in technology.
• Experience with ERP and Source-to-Pay tools.
• Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing and presenting business cases and sourcing strategies for optimizing technology spend.
• Experience in contract development and management for software and hardware.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and diverse stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating with global vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Drive end-to-end sourcing, including complex negotiations with technology partners.

• Evaluate and recommend strategic opportunities to leadership based on spend analyses.
