Job summary

PIMCO invites MBA students to join the 2027 MBA Summer Intern – Account Manager program in Newport Beach, CA; Austin, TX; or New York, NY. You will support client relationships and educate clients on investment strategies, while identifying growth opportunities for AUM.

The internship includes formal training, mentorship, and hands-on work with AI-powered tools, plus a relocation transition bonus. The program runs 10 weeks during the summer with performance reviews.

Qualifications

Must pursue MBA with Finance/Economics emphasis from an accredited school.
Must be able to begin full-time employment from January 2028 to August 2028.
Must be enrolled in Fall 2027 semester (Aug 2027–Dec 2027).
Business proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships across client organizations.
Educate clients about a broad set of investment strategies.
Develop understanding of clients' objectives and industry trends.
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Product Strategists on offerings.
Communicate the benefits and features of investment solutions to clients.
