Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Texas to improve, develop, and maintain key quality metrics. You will drive corrective actions, manage non-conforming product, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across supplier and customer interactions.

The role requires expertise in problem-solving methodologies, Core Tools, and lean practices. Applicants should be meticulous, organized, and able to coordinate audits and product releases within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and A3.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Knowledge of Core Tools: SPC, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA.
• Lean tools and LPAs; Six Sigma exposure.
• Familiarity with quality systems and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure compliance with established quality controls.
• Coordinate the classification/rework of products due to supplier/customer issues.
• Lead development of corrective actions and problem solving.
• Manage non-conforming product tracking and closure.
• Improve KPIs: LPA, OBPA pass rate, scrap, CAPA closure.
• Audit and release new products.
• Oversee incoming inspections, CTQs, CP, SPC, and audit docs.
• Coordinate rework in plant/warehouse and in transit per procedures.
• Develop corrective actions using 8D, CAPA, and A3.
• Manage RTVs (Returns to vendor).
• Improve customer complaints handling, LPA audits, FPY, scrap management.
• Audit new products per customer requirements; participate in Tier 2&3 and Kaizen.

Job Description

Resposible for improving, Developing & maintaining the key metrics

Resposible for developing, proving & monitoring the QMS (Quality Management System)

• Develop and ensure compliance with established quality controls.
• Coordinate the classification/rework of products due to supplier/customer issues.
• Participate, update and lead the development of corrective actions. Problem solving

• Manage and control non-conforming product (tracking and closure).
• Manage, develop and improve key performance indicators (KPIs - Layered process Audit, OBPA pass Rate, Scrap, CAPAs close Rate)

• Audit and release new products.

Management, development and improvement of incoming inspections, CTQs, CP, SPC, and audit documentation.

• Coordination of rework (materials in the plant/warehouse, in transit with the customer) according to internal procedures/methods.

• Management and development of corrective actions using tools such as 8D, CAPA, and A3.

• Management and control of RTVs (Returns to vendor).
• Management, development and improvement of customer complaints, LPA audits, FPY, and scrap management.

• Auditing of new products based on specific customer requirements.
• Participation in and follow-up of Tier 2&3 meetings.
• Participation in and follow-up of Kaizen projects.

Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, A3, CAPAS

• Basic knowledge of GD&T
