Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Picker to support production lines by pulling parts from receiving and storage, then carting them to the appropriate production stations on time and accurately.

Applicants should demonstrate good communication, basic math skills, and the ability to work as part of a team while maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime may be required, and experience in manufacturing is helpful.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from receiving/storage and cart to production lines to meet daily production requirements.

Reports directly to the Picker Supervisor.

Skills & Knowledge

• Communication skills necessary to accurately issue materials to recipients.
• Math skills to calculate inventory and product counts required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Knowledge of cabinet parts & quality standards.
• Knowledge of computers and ability to use an iPod to access daily work.
• Ability to move at a decent pace to keep lines stocked with carts.
• Meet the takt time for picking commodities and pick accurately.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for on-time completion of daily production requirements, pulling parts from receiving/storage area and carting them to production lines.
• Observe and follow all safety and quality standards and expectations in completing production requirements.
• Prepare daily assignments.
• Work overtime as required.
• Train new associates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk 90% of shift.
• Ability to read & understand instructions and schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team with adherence to established safety, productivity, and quality standards.
