Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Carlisle, PA is seeking a forklift operator to move product and materials, replenish aisles, and support production flow under supervision. The role requires operating a forklift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with daily workload distribution to the production floor.

You will participate in cycle counts, safety initiatives, and cross-training to support other functions as needed, including backing up other departments and completing certification

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and/or experience.
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and provide solutions to inventory problems.
• Ability to communicate and resolve issues with internal vendors, customers, associates, and supervisors in an effective and positive manner.
• Ability to maintain production goals, including flexible hours as required.
• Maintain positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperation.

• Follows and promote safety initiatives and assist in development of safety programs.

Encourages efficient utilization of equipment and facilities. Assist in ensuring that work group has necessary resources to complete requirements. Works with Supervisor and group members to develop plans for fulfilling orders according to customer requirements. Performs continuous quality control inspections of own work and coworkers during normal course of operations. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Confers with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products. Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Works with planner for daily workload, distribute to production floor.
