Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions seeks a Maximo Engineer/FEM Specialist to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. You will sustain and modernize a highly customized FEM IBM Maximo environment to ensure mission readiness and seamless operations.

You will analyze and optimize maintenance workflows, coordinate with Product Owners, SMEs, DevSecOps, architects, and enterprise integration teams, and ensure secure, reliable operation during upgrades. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of Maximo engineering experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with IBM Maximo Suite and maintenance workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, modernization, workflow optimization, and integration management for the FEM Maximo environment.
• Analyze, configure, develop, and sustain maintenance workflows for depot maintenance, calibration management, work-order execution, inventory tracking, costing functions, and scheduling.
• Work with Product Owners, SMEs, DevSecOps, System Architects, and Enterprise Integration to assess modernization opportunities and implement enhancements.
• Support governance, API integration, reporting optimization, and regression validation to ensure modernization does not destabilize operations.

Job description

Overview Bluewater Federal is looking for a Maximo Engineer/FEM Specialist to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, modernization, workflow optimization, integration management, and operational support for the highly customized FEM IBM Maximo environment.
• Responsible for analyzing, configuring, developing, and sustaining maintenance workflows supporting depot maintenance operations, calibration management, work-order execution, inventory tracking, costing functions, and maintenance scheduling activities.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Functional SMEs, DevSecOps personnel, System Architects, and Enterprise Integration resources to evaluate workflow modernization opportunities, implement enhancements, optimize performance, and preserve operational continuity during modernization and release activities.
• Support modernization governance, API integration, reporting optimization, technical debt reduction, and regression validation activities to ensure modernization changes do not destabilize operational maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of Maximo engineering/support with experience supporting customized Maximo environments.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Deep understanding of both Maximo platform engineering and Air Force maintenance workflow execution.
• Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, Workflow automation, Asset management, Maintenance scheduling, Calibration workflows, SQL, Integration APIs and Reporting
