Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Maxillofacial Laboratory Technician to coordinate daily clinical and administrative operations of the maxillofacial lab. You will fabricate and repair prosthodontic, implant and dental appliances for patients with trauma, defects, or disorders, improving function and quality of life.

Under limited supervision, the role requires a High School Diploma (an Associate's degree in dental technology preferred) and experience in prosthetic restorations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in dental technology preferred.
• Experience in prosthetic restorations, anaplastology, and/or in a dental practice setting preferred.
• Licensure as a Dental Technician in South Carolina and/or CDT certification preferred.

• Coordinate daily clinical and administrative operations of the maxillofacial laboratory.
• Fabricate and repair prosthodontic, implant and dental appliances for patients with trauma or defects.
• Ensure quality patient care and timely delivery of appliances.
