Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Functional Template Consultant WMS to lead hands-on configuration of the Manhattan Active WM template from approved designs for a global client base. You will build reusable configuration components and ensure scalability across projects, working with functional architecture, product management, QA and implementation teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ensure configurations can be reused across customers, sites and environments.

Job Description

The Functional Template Consultant WMS is responsible for the hands-on configuration, maintenance, testing and continuous improvement of a global Manhattan Active WMS template. The role requires strong practical knowledge of Manhattan Active WM configuration, warehouse operational processes and the tools used to manage, validate and deploy system configuration. Working from approved functional designs and template requirements, the consultant translates business functionality into standardized, reusable and maintainable Manhattan Active configuration. The consultant is expected to understand the functional implications of configuration decisions, identify potential conflicts or deviations and proactively recommend improvements. A critical responsibility is ensuring that configuration remains consistent, scalable and supportable across our clients global customer base, rather than introducing unnecessary customer-specific complexity into the global template. The role combines independent configuration execution with close collaboration across functional architecture, product management, extension development, quality assurance and implementation teams.
