Job summary

Mattel is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser in Hiram, GA to grow our presence at major retailers. You’ll work up to 30 hours per week with seasonal extra hours, engaging with store teams and customers to drive results.

The role requires merchandising experience, reliability, and tech comfort with Microsoft Office/iPad apps. Base pay $19–$22 per hour with benefits; flexible daytime hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Must be 18 or older and able to work daytime hours with possible weekends.
• Reliable transportation to travel between stores within 20 miles of Hiram, GA.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with store teams.
• Brand ambassador of Mattel/FP Brands and products.
• Secure prime product placements for Mattel's iconic brands.
• Unpack cases of various Mattel toys.
• Merchandise and organize product on the sales floor.
• Construct & deconstruct store fixtures including shelving and racking.
• Implement Point of Purchase materials.
• Execute special projects as assigned including store events.
• Complete reports as necessary including store surveys.
• Train & lead team associates.
• Provide real-time business insights.
• Administrative tasks including managing expenses, attending meetings, trainings, checking email.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
• Available to work daytime hours during the week; occasional required weekends
• Access to reliable internet access
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to between assigned store locations
• Residewithin approximately 20 miles of Hiram, GA 30141 or otherwise able to reliably service the assigned territory

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach
• Walk for long periods of time
• Climb ladders up to 12' tall
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
• Push/pull carts containing product - occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Operate power tools (screwdriver & drill)

About You:

• Merchandising experience (preferred, but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
• Develop strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation skills
• Represent the brand with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritize work with strong time management and a sense of urgency
• Self-motived with a strong bias for action by making resourceful decisions
• Eagerness to learn new skills with a safety-first mentality
• Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, iPads and apps)

The base hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00.
