Job summary

GradePower Learning Frisco West is seeking a part-time Math Teacher to join our after-school program. You will work with students in grades 1–12, teaching advanced functions, algebra, trig, and calculus.

All lessons are pre-planned, and you will deliver engaging tutoring in a friendly, supportive environment. The role requires a strong math background, reliable attendance, and the ability to work evenings 4:00pm–7:00pm in person near the Teel & Main area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Strong knowledge of advanced functions, algebra, trig, and calculus.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to students in grades 1–12 in-person at after-school hours.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and tutor up to three students at a time.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate effectively with students and families.

GradePower Learning Frisco West is looking for an upbeat, reliable, enthusiastic, dynamic part-time Math Teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math and must be comfortable teaching students in Grade 1 to 12th , at all levels. Upbeat math instructors must be comfortable teaching advanced functions, calculus and data management.We are currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning center. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

Teacher-tutors at GradePower Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned.

Position Requirements:

All Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning work during after-school and evening hours (4:00pm - 7:00pm). Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification an asset
• Strong knowledge of the current math curriculum, including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus.

Experience:

• Some experience teaching/tutoring math
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
