Gary Community School Corporation in Indiana is seeking a qualified individual to develop and teach an integrated math curriculum using technology. The successful candidate will be committed to enhancing student learning experiences, working collaboratively with peers, and creating an environment for success.
Applicants must hold a secondary math teaching license and demonstrate proficiency in computer applications. A passion for education and experience in project-based learning are crucial for this position.
To be committed to change in education by developing an integrated curriculum. To focus on helping students use technology as a means of gaining academic success. To act as a coach to teach and lead students on project based learning curriculum. Not to train students on computer maintenance or repair, but to allow them to use the Internet and other software applications to work on project based curriculum. To develop a one to one student to computer ratio in order to help support teaching practices. To support students academically in order to develop strong advisory relationships.

Knowledge of:Experience and passion for math/science integration, passion for excellence and meaningful school reform. Ability to demonstrate effective teaching and computer skills. To be flexible, resourceful, innovative, and able to manage the design and execution of learning experiences, both formal and informal, that are very responsive to the needs of students and the context in which learning is taking place. Must be highly qualified to teach Mathematics.
Possession of a Secondary Math teaching license.
