Job description

We’re seeking highly skilled STEM and scientific-domain experts to contribute to an AI training project focused on technical problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and Python-based computation.

In this role, you’ll solve, review, and validate challenging problems within your area of expertise. Tasks may involve analyzing scientific or mathematical problems, developing rigorous solutions, using Python for calculations or simulations, and evaluating the technical correctness of AI-generated answers.

This is a coding-intensive role, and candidates must have experience using coding agents in their workflow. Deep expertise in at least one relevant STEM discipline is required; expertise across every field is not expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise.
  • Review AI-generated solutions for factual, mathematical, and scientific accuracy.
  • Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, missing constraints, and subtle technical mistakes.
  • Use Python or other programming languages to perform calculations, simulations, and technical analyses.
  • Develop rigorous solutions and validate results using appropriate computational methods.
  • Apply coding agents as part of your problem-solving and technical workflow.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong demonstrated expertise in at least one relevant STEM or scientific discipline.
  • Practical proficiency in Python or another programming language.
  • Experience using coding agents in a technical workflow.
  • Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions critically and explain the reasoning behind conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using scientific Python tools and libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, or Jupyter.
  • Familiarity with domain-specific scientific libraries and computational workflows.
  • Experience in academic research, industry, teaching, engineering, or independent technical work.
  • Ability to develop reproducible calculations, simulations, and rigorous technical solutions.
Compensation & Engagement
  • Compensation: $60-$120/hour equivalent, with payment based on tasks that meet project specifications.
  • Engagement Type: Contractor.
  • Work Arrangement: Fully remote, open globally.
  • Expected Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
Application Process
  • Complete an AI interview lasting approximately 30 minutes.
