Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of a large university program or department and supervises staff.
• Integrates advising and program management, including comprehensive academic and graduate advising support.
• Coordinates programs, improves processes, and engages stakeholders.
• Plans and develops procedures for administering a large or complex department or program.
• Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis.
• Provides guidance to staff and evaluates performance.
• Prepares abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, manuals, and other documentation.
• Creates and reviews reports of expenditures and activities.
• May administer grants and related communications, scholarships and operations.
• Develops, implements and maintains policies and procedures.
• May serve as property custodian for the department.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
