Mercer University’s College of Professional Advancement invites applications for a full-time Faculty of Mathematics to join the Department of Informatics and Mathematics in August 2027. The position will be based at a metro-Atlanta campus and includes a seven-course teaching load spread across four accelerated 8-week sessions, with research and service expectations.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, Computational Mathematics or closely related field by appointment.
• ABD candidates may be considered at Instructor rank until PhD obtained.
• Ability to translate teaching excellence into courses in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, including accelerated formats.

Responsibilities
