Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or related field).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or related field.
• Strong mathematical background; candidates with advanced math coursework preferred.
• Understanding of modern technology tools and emerging AI platforms.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to children and teens.
• Florida teaching certification (preferred, not required).
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to challenge students while supporting varied learning levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics across grades 3–9 (arithmetic, pre‑algebra, algebraic reasoning).
• Develop lessons emphasizing conceptual understanding, problem‑solving, and logical thinking.
• Teach age‑appropriate technology and AI lessons to grades 3–9.
• Introduce machine learning concepts, data ethics, coding logic, and digital citizenship.
• Teach practical computer skills including typing, productivity tools, and research.
• Create hands‑on projects using laptops and classroom tech.
• Maintain structure and clear expectations with consistent routines.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Prepare students for standardized assessments and long‑term academic success.
• Communicate with parents and school leadership.
• Participate in meetings, planning, and professional development.
