SaidGig is seeking a remote contracting mathematician to develop and evaluate training content for next-generation AI systems. This role emphasizes mathematical research, problem solving, proof writing, and high-quality material review; prior AI experience is not required.

You will author and review advanced problems, design rigorous challenges, and refine content for AI datasets, contributing to clear mathematical explanations across audiences worldwide.

Job description

Apply advanced mathematical expertise to the development and evaluation of training content for next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity centers on mathematical research, rigorous problem solving, proof writing, and the creation and review of high-quality mathematical material. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Author and review advanced mathematical problems, solutions, and proofs across calculus and other higher mathematics domains.
• Design and analyze mathematical challenges and provide rigorous feedback to improve their clarity, correctness, and precision.
• Evaluate and refine mathematical content for use in AI training datasets.
• Develop technical analyses, explanations, and justifications that demonstrate research-level mathematical rigor.
• Apply research methodology when developing and verifying mathematical concepts and techniques.
• Communicate complex mathematical ideas clearly and precisely in written and verbal formats for varied audiences.
• Collaborate with project teams and contribute subject-matter expertise that supports improved AI learning and reasoning.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience producing research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical analyses in academic or applied settings.
• Advanced knowledge of calculus, mathematical proof writing, and higher mathematics concepts.
• Exceptional mathematical problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly.
• Background in research methodology and mathematical content development.
• Experience contributing to collaborative projects or international research initiatives is a plus.

Work Terms

Remote contract engagement. Work may be completed from locations worldwide. No prior professional experience in artificial intelligence is required.

Compensation

Compensation is $80 to $90 per hour.
