Turn Your Passion for Change Into a Career That Matters

That drive you have to make a difference? You can turn it into a meaningful career—right now.

As a Math Fellow, you won’t just support students—you’ll help expand access to high-quality math instruction for young people who deserve every opportunity to succeed. You’ll also build meaningful, real-world experience and a strong professional skill set that prepares you for careers in education, nonprofit leadership, public service, and beyond.

Years from now, a student will remember the person who showed up for them—who believed in them, who helped them see what they were capable of.

This is your opportunity to be that person.

Why This Role Matters

Across the country, too many students—particularly those from historically underserved communities—lack access to the rigorous, personalized math support they need to thrive.

As a Math Fellow, you are part of the solution.

Through high‑impact, small‑group tutoring, you will:
  • Accelerate student learning in math
  • Build student confidence and identity as learners
  • Help close opportunity gaps in education
  • Contribute to measurable, meaningful academic outcomes

This is not just support—it’s transformative, evidence‑based work that changes trajectories.

Build Your Career While You Make an Impact (Learn While You Earn)

This is more than a job—it’s a hands‑on learning experience designed to prepare you for a future in education.

As a Math Fellow, you will:
  • Gain real classroom and instructional experience from day one
  • Lead small‑group tutoring sessions with students
  • Receive ongoing coaching and feedback from experienced educators
  • Develop skills in lesson delivery, student engagement, and data‑driven instruction
  • Earn a steady income while building professional experience

You’ll leave this role with practical, transferable skills that will serve you well in education and beyond.

From Tutor to Teacher: Explore Your Pathway

Many Math Fellows use this experience to explore and prepare for a future in education.

This role is intentionally designed to help you build a strong foundation by providing:

  • Structured, real‑world teaching experience
  • Ongoing mentorship and coaching
  • A deep understanding of how students learn and succeed
  • Essential professional skills to support success in the workplace, such as communication, adaptability and problem solving

As you consider your next steps, Blueprint can connect you with partner organizations and programs that support pathways into teaching, certification, and graduate study.

Whether you’re ready to pursue the classroom or still exploring, this experience is a powerful way to test drive a career in education—while making a meaningful impact today.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver daily, small‑group math tutoring during the school day
  • Build strong relationships with students and support their growth
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction based on data
