Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Columbus, Ohio is urgently hiring math tutors. This part-time role offers paid training and flexible scheduling, with instruction Monday through Thursday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

A bachelor's degree is REQUIRED. Candidates must have scored at least 30 on the ACT math or the SAT equivalent; scores older than five years may be refreshed via a qualifying exam at our center.

Qualifications

• Tutors must complete initial and ongoing training in Huntington's teaching methods and curriculum.
• Scores: ACT math 30 or SAT math equivalent; retake exam if older than 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Huntington Learning Center is urgently hiring math tutors. Paid training provided. This position is great for graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. A bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.

Requirements And Qualifications

To ensure our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors must complete initial and ongoing training in Huntington's teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. Our tutors must have scored at least 30 on the math sections of the ACT (or the SAT equivalent). If your scores are more than 5 years old, you may take a qualifying exam at our center.

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Math Areas (candidates must be proficient in at least 4 of the following):

• Pre-Algebra.
• Algebra I & II.
• Geometry.
• Trigonometry.
• Pre-Calculus.
• Calculus and college-level math.

Flexible Scheduling: We offer instruction Monday through Thursday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Job Type: Part-time.

Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
