Job summary

Mathnasium in Glendora, CA seeks a Math Instructor to deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will work with students from kindergarten through middle school, guiding them through personalized plans and helping build confidence in math.

This in-person, part-time role offers paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth. The team emphasizes a positive, collaborative environment and strong customer service with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent expected within 1 year.
• Strong arithmetic and Algebra I skills.
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Available to work at least 3 weekdays (4 preferred).
• Commit to a minimum of six months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
• Support students K–6 with varying skill levels.
• Guide students through personalized learning plans.
• Help students develop understanding, fluency, and problem-solving.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Build relationships with students and families.
• Maintain instructional standards and behavior expectations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure student success.
• Assist with assessments and center activities.
