Math Corps is seeking tutors to help students in local schools with 20–30 minute sessions, in groups of up to 3, during the school day. You’ll learn proven activities and be coached every step of the way.
You’ll track progress, work with an on-site coach, and conduct skill assessments. AmeriCorps stipends and education awards are part of the program, with ongoing coaching and training. Part-time options exist; the schedule runs 2026–27.

Join Math Corps as a Math Tutor and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills. Not a math whiz? Not a problem – we’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!
How does it work? Every school day you’ll see groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes of math practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. You’ll repeat until all your students are served.
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you’ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!
