Ampact is seeking Math Tutors for the 2026-27 school year in Richmond, Minnesota. In this role, you'll work with students to improve their math skills through structured tutoring sessions. You will be responsible for tracking progress and providing support while also receiving training and coaching.

Join Math Corps as a Math Tutor and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills. Not a math whiz? Not a problem — we’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!
Every school day you’ll see groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes of math practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. You’ll repeat until all your students are served.
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you’ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!
We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run August 2026–June 2027.
Part-time positions are also available at 25 and 15 hours per week!
Full-time AmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks. Compensation: $17.50 per hour served and additional perks.
