Job summary

Mathnasium Huntington Beach is seeking a part-time math Instructor to teach in-center, online, or hybrid sessions using the Mathnasium Method. You will work with small groups, monitor student progress, and help students build confidence in math.

The role requires enthusiasm for math, strong communication, and a willingness to learn; hours are after school and on weekends, with ongoing training and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal communication is required.
• Willingness to learn and be trained is expected.
• Strong math skills through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance multiple ongoing tasks while teaching.
• Availability to work 6–20 hours per week (Mon–Fri 3–7, Sat 10–1).

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid using Mathnasium Method and practices.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
