Job summary

The Ladder Method, Inc. is seeking experienced educators for in-person Academic Coaching in the Los Angeles area. This part-time role focuses on math tutoring for families in West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Candidates should have a strong math background and prior tutoring experience to deliver personalized, high-quality support. Ideal tutors are reliable, communicative, and able to work 10–15 hours weekly, including weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one

• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience working with high-net-worth families strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools highly desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and highly reliable.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Available for weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend day (preferably Sunday).
• Available for approximately 10-15 hours per week.

We Are Specifically Seeking Tutors With Strong Proficiency In

Proficiency in Science subjects is a plus, but not required.

We are looking for individuals to work in-person in Los Angeles. The main areas we serve are:

• West areas: Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades
• Central areas: Beverly Hills, Cheviot Hills, Bel-Air, Hancock Park
• East areas: Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz
• San Fernando Valley: Sherman Oaks, Burbank, Tarzana, Reseda, Pasadena

We are currently hiring for both immediate placement and the upcoming school year.

Compensation is for in-person tutoring and is determined by experience, subject expertise, and education.
