Job summary

Mathnasium of Palo Alto–Menlo Park, CA is seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. No prior experience is required and high school students, college students, or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

The role offers flexible hours as a part‑time position, with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour after training. Training in the Mathnasium Method™ is provided and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and helping students succeed.
• Excellent interpersonal communication for parents and students.
• Strong math ability through Algebra I or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging math tutoring to students.
• Interact with parents to communicate student progress and value.
• Utilize digital materials and hybrid delivery methods as needed.
• Teach in-center, online or hybrid using Mathnasium methods.
