Think Zone Learning Center (Redwood City) is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to help elementary and middle school students build confidence in math after school.

You’ll tutor one-on-one, explain concepts clearly, and encourage problem-solving while tracking progress with our curriculum.

Ideal candidates are friendly and dependable, currently in high school (16+) or college, with a strong math foundation and a desire to make a positive impact.

Qualifications

• Must love helping students learn and be friendly.
• Strong math knowledge and comfort with abstract concepts.
• Clear, patient communication.
• Responsible and dependable.
• Motivate younger students and foster growth.
• Currently in high school (16+) or college or has a HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Tutor K–8 students with personalized one-on-one math instruction.
• Explain math concepts in simple terms for understanding.
• Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Track student progress using our curriculum and resources.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• No lesson planning required; curriculum provided.
