Ampact's Math Corps is seeking a dedicated Math Tutor to help local students build math skills. You will tutor groups of up to 3 for 20–30 minutes daily, guiding them back to class and preparing the next group for tutoring.
You'll support growth through patient coaching and structured sessions. As part of AmeriCorps, you’ll receive training, coaching, and the chance to contribute to a national tutoring effort, with benefits and growth opportunities while making a meaningful impact in students’

Join Math Corps as a Math Tutor and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills. Not a math whiz? Not a problem — we’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!
How does it work? Every school day you’ll see groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes of math practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. You’ll repeat until all your students are served.
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you’ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run January 2027–June 2027.
Part-time positions are also available at 25 and 15 hours per week!
