Job summary

Mathnasium in Wauconda is seeking passionate individuals to teach and tutor students in a supportive and flexible part-time setting. Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction, assessing student engagement, and working collaboratively as a team.

Applicants should have exceptional math skills through at least Algebra I and be available year-round for a minimum of 8 hours per week. Join Mathnasium and make a difference in students' lives!

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older and available a minimum of 8 hours per week during instruction hours.
• Availability year round is required; not a summer-only position.
• Candidates will take a math literacy test for proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method and terminology.
• Collaborate with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess students' understanding throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with various daily processes.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
