Job summary

Sylvan Learning of Glendora is hiring part-time tutors to inspire and guide students in small groups, delivering engaging reading and math instruction after school and on Saturdays. You'll teach K–12 reading and math subjects, including Algebra I/II, Geometry and Calculus, while building rapport and a supportive learning environment.

This on-site role offers up to 20 hours per week with competitive pay and ongoing training. Flexible scheduling and sick pay benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or tutoring/teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple students at once.

Schedule & Hours

• Up to20 hours per week
• After-school and Saturday availability required
• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
