Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking an enthusiastic Part-time Instructor to teach math concepts to students in Fredericksburg, VA. You will guide learners using the Mathnasium Method, deliver engaging lessons, and provide regular feedback to help students build confidence.

You will be part of a friendly team, enjoy a flexible schedule, and have opportunities for advancement as you develop your tutoring skills and impact the next generation of students.

Qualifications

• Math competency through Algebra 1 is required; calculus knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are essential.
• Proficient communication skills with students and parents.
• Passion for math and ability to engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Instruct using the Mathnasium Method (training provided).
• Score and correct student work for accuracy.
• Assist in non-teaching tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Math competency through at least Algebra 1 (Pre-calculus and Calculus knowledge a plus!)

• Prior tutoring experience is preferred but not required

Instructor pay range: $15-$18 per hour
