Math Teacher - Part time or Full time/High School

Accelerated Schools of Overland Park (ASOP) is looking for a part-time or full-time high school math teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year. We are a small, private school serving students in grades 4 - 12 from all over the Kansas City Metro area. With an average student to teacher ratio of 7:1, ASOP teachers have the time to adapt curriculum in order to identify and address each student’s individual needs and potential. ASOP was recognized this year as one of the top 10 Best Places to Work for the 5-50 local employees category from the Kansas City Business Journal. We believe in our mission and invest in our staff in order to create the optimal learning and professional environment.

The typical ASOP student has average to above average academic ability. However, they are not currently executing at that level. ASOP works with each student individually to rebuild their self-esteem and maximize their success.

ASOP accepts all teacher candidates including those interested in transitioning to teaching from other professions.

Part-time positions are ideal for retired teachers, parents, and individuals with obligations or businesses who are only available to teach a few hours a day.
