Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated math teacher to support K-12 students requiring additional supports in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will implement SESI’s instructional models, track progress, and collaborate with school teams and families to drive outcomes. As part of our team, you will apply data-driven strategies within the CASE PBIS framework, maintain student records, and engage in ongoing professional development to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for teaching; certification preferred.
• Commitment to learning and applying feedback in classroom practice.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to diverse students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Provide individualized attention to meet the needs of all students.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term instructional plans.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Apply the school’s behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary to ensure safety.
• Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward goals; maintain required forms and files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and trainings.
