Job summary

Birch Agency is seeking qualified Mathematics Teachers for Elementary School to prepare and/or supervise students in Bronx, NY for the 2026/2027 school year. You will teach according to the curriculum and guidelines to foster math skill development and individual growth.

Position: Math Teacher with NY teaching certification. Location: Bronx, NY. Pay: $43.00/hr to $48.00/hr. Benefits include 401(k) with employer matching and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Able to teach Middle school Math.
• NY Teacher Certification/ License for Math or General education.
• Previous experience teaching students in mathematics preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough preparation of material for the final exam.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other documentation as needed.
• Implement the teaching methods and materials to address individual students’ needs and progress.
• Provide individualized attention to each student, encouraging them to develop their math skills and personalities.
• Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with colleagues on projects and activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, assignments etc. as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development programs.

We are currently seeking qualified Mathematics Teachers for Elementary School to prepare and/or supervise students in Bronx, NY for the 2026/2027 school year. You will be responsible for teaching these subjects in accordance with the school’s curriculum and guidelines. The objective is to create an environment that fosters the development of students’ math skills and allows them to learn from diverse sources while also nurturing their individualities.
