Mathnasium of Lynbrook is seeking an exceptional math instructor to create an engaging and productive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and possesses excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This role offers a unique career path focused on community assistance, working with students, and developing professional skills.

All applicants must provide work authorization and pass a background check. After hiring, training in the Mathnasium Method is required. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students.
2. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
3. Teach in-center, online, and/or hybrid sessions using the Mathnasium Method and individualized instruction techniques.
4. Assess students' progress and collaborate with team members to enhance learning experiences.
5. Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework.
6. Maintain a clean and professional learning environment.
7. Assist with non-teaching instructional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirements; however, a propensity for and aptitude in math are essential.
• Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.
