Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking passionate individuals for a part-time teaching role in San Jose, California. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid using the Mathnasium Method.
• Collaborate with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess student progress and utilize digital educational materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a small group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check
