Job summary

Mathnasium in Calabasas, CA is seeking enthusiastic tutors to teach math to students from 1st through 12th grade using the Mathnasium Method. You’ll work in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery, enabling flexible scheduling after school and on weekends.

You will collaborate with teammates to tailor instruction, monitor student progress, and ensure a positive learning environment while gaining training and ongoing curriculum support.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and responsibilities.
• Must be able to pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid using the Mathnasium Method and terminology.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
