Job summary

Mathnasium Lake Forest, IL is seeking a passionate Math Instructor II to positively impact our community by delivering Mathnasium teaching methods in a welcoming in-person setting after school. You will guide students in a structured math program, assess progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.

The role offers part-time, after-school hours with weekend shifts, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training.

• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.

What You Will Do...

As an Instructor, you will be a passionate and outgoing individual who will positively impact the community by creating a welcoming environment for our students and families. Candidates will be trained to provide effective and concise math instruction. You will motivate and inspire students to learn by creating an engaging, positive and productive learning environment while establishing a high level of confidence and program value. Instructors will assist in evaluating and tracking the progress of each student through effective communication with the Center Manager and staff, as well as perform operational functions as required.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Position: Math Instructor II

Job Type: In-Person, Part-Time, 2 Shifts per week

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
