Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a dedicated Math Instructor in St. Louis to teach children from 1st to 12th grade using the Mathnasium Method. This role offers flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, allowing instructors to transform the lives of students while working in a supportive and fun environment.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for math, excellent interpersonal skills, and a desire to make a difference. Applicants will undergo a math literacy test and must provide work authorization.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.

• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Comfortable math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method.
• Work collaboratively with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess students’ learning progress during instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials.
• Support maintenance of a safe learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach/tutor in‑center as part of a team using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
