Job summary

A local educational center is seeking a Math Instructor to teach students from grades 1 to 12 using the Mathnasium curriculum. The role requires flexible part-time hours, particularly in evenings and weekends, accommodating local educational schedules. Ideal candidates should have a passion for math, basic knowledge through Pre-Calculus, and be local to El Paso to work physically in the center. Bilingual skills are preferred. Training will be provided to all instructors.

• Local residents who can work physically from the center.

Responsibilities

Elementary to Pre-Calculus At Mathnasium, we help kids in grades Pre-K to 12+ understand math by teaching them the way that makes sense to them. We are looking for a Math Instructor to help us reach our mission. Part-time hours with a flexible schedule. We are looking for a Math Instructor for both our East El Paso and West El Paso locations.

Job Description

The Math Instructor must have basic math knowledge through Pre-Calculus. We are looking for someone who can teach Mathnasium curriculum for grades 1 through 12 inside our center. The ideal candidate must use manipulatives and examples provided. Training on all techniques and procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Must score minimum required on an instructor math test.
• Be willing to work flexible hours between 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm Monday – Thursday and Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (We are willing to work with school schedules!)
• Have a passion for math and teaching students.
• Bilingual (preferred).
• Must live local and work physically from our center.
