Qualifications

• Active Colorado teaching license or substitute authorization.

Responsibilities

• Teach the approved curriculum based on lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Implement the regular teacher’s assigned responsibilities and schedule.
• Assess student work when appropriate and time permits.
• Promote and maintain student behavior expectations conducive to learning, maximizing learning time.
• Prepare a summary report of work completed and the day’s events for the regular teacher.
• Complete the Guest Teacher report form.
• Establish positive relationships with students, parents, staff and community.
