Job summary

Qualifications

• CT teaching certificate in content area is required.
• Department Chair Certification (105) or (092) required or acceptable alternative.
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience with diverse learners.
• Ability to mentor new teachers and lead curriculum innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, instruction, and assessment district-wide under the Curriculum Administrator.
• Provide targeted professional development and coaching using best practices.
• Lead creation of common assessments, data analysis, and collaborative lesson planning.
• Attend summer development and maintain curriculum resources as scheduled.
