Role Description

The Math Corps Tutor role at Ampact is an on-site position located in Stockton, CA. In this role, the tutor provides regular, structured math support to students, focusing on foundational skills and concepts, including algebra, to help learners meet grade-level benchmarks. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with small groups or individual students, delivering targeted interventions, monitoring progress, and documenting student performance using program tools. The tutor collaborates with teachers and school staff to align tutoring sessions with classroom instruction and participates in ongoing training and coaching to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices. This position contributes directly to students’ confidence and achievement in mathematics through consistent, high-quality tutoring.
