Job summary

Accel Learning in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a creative, fun, energetic, and kids-friendly teacher for Math and English. You will help students not only learn the subjects but also foster a love for them.

The role is part-time with evening hours from 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Friday, totaling approximately 10–15 hours per week. Responsibilities include teaching, assigning homework, quizzes, and communicating progress to parents.

Qualifications

• Passion to teach and ability to teach effectively.
• Knowledge of Math and English.
• Experience in teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math & English lessons (grades 8–12) to small groups of 3–4 students in classroom or online.
• Assign and review daily lessons and homework.
• Administer quizzes and tests.
• Help students with homework and upcoming tests; clarify concepts.
• Provide feedback on student progress to parents.
• Promote a positive, friendly and engaging learning atmosphere.

Job Description

We are interested in a creative, fun, energetic and kids-friendly teacher for Math and English who can help kids not only learn the subjects, but also help them instill love for the subjects.

Instructors Will:

• Teach Math & English lessons (grade 8 to 12) to an audience of 3-4 students in classroom setting / online setting
• Assign & Review daily lessons and homework
• Administer quiz & test
• Help students with homework, upcoming tests and clearing concepts
• Provide feedback of students progress to parents
• Promote positive, friendly and fun learning atmosphere

Job type: Part-time.

Working hours: Evening work hours from 4 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday (approx 10-15 hours/week).

Qualifications

PRIMARY:

• A passion to teach - coupled with the ability to teach
• Knowledge of Math and English
• Experience in teaching
