Job Description

SINAI Schools is seeking a General Studies Teacher for young men with special needs, ranging from ages 18-21, for the SINAI campus at Torah Academy of Bergen County in Teaneck, NJ. This role is for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Special Education and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to working with young adults with learning disabilities.

This position is available as a full-time or part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Special Education General Studies to young men with special needs
• Teaching a variety of functional academics and life skills based on each student’s specific requirements
• Providing off-campus vocational training and assistance to students as needed
• Collaborating with co-educators and parents to facilitate the most productive environment possible for each individual’s learning needs

Qualifications

• Master of Special Education or related therapeutic field (required)
• Teaching experience, preferably within a special education setting with young adults
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license

Annual salary range is expected to be $60,000-$95,000.
