Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Miramar, Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Maternal Fetal Medicine Technologist. You will perform diagnostic maternal fetal medicine sonography in accordance with scope, standards, and our mission.

Responsibilities include patient education, prep of equipment, reviewing history, assisting with procedures such as CVS, amniocentesis, PUBS, maintaining quality control, and operating ultrasound systems. A strong emphasis on ALARA and high-volume workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of OBGYN sonography experience.
• Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred.
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain documentation per profession and department.
• Review patient history and orders; educate patient regarding procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced ultrasound procedures with ALARA.
• Assist MFM physician with ultrasound-guided procedures (CVS, amniocentesis, PUBS).
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; ensure image quality.
