Job summary

UNC Health is recruiting an open-rank Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) faculty physician within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role welcomes MFM Fellows and experienced candidates, with duties spanning high-risk obstetric care, teaching medical students and residents, and potential research participation.

The division boasts extensive epidemiologic research, a robust patient care program, and strong collaboration across UNC Health, with on-site responsibilities in Chapel Hill, NC.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified/Active Candidate in OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Completion of both a 4-year ACGME approved OB-GYN residency and a 3-year ABOG approved fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: High-risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach.
• Teaching: Active participation in UNC's Center for Maternal and Infant Health, student and resident teaching, subspecialty training for six MFM fellows.
• Research: opportunity to participate if desired.
