Board certification or eligibility within five years is expected. The role includes collaboration with a Level III NICU, a laborist program, and on-site anesthesia, with access to ultrasound and a genetic counselor as needed.

Responsibilities

• See 20–25 patients daily in a community-based practice.
• Work with Level III NICU and neonatology staff, plus 24/7 laborist and in-house anesthesia programs.
• Provide ultrasound-guided care and consult with on-staff genetic counselor as needed.

Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG), has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join an existing practice located in Mishawaka, Indiana. This community-based practice is located in a Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital.

The average number of patients seen daily is 20 - 25. SJRMC has a Level III NICU with Neonatologists on staff, as well as a Laborist program and in-house anesthesiology, that provide 24/7 service. Ultrasound equipment available including GE Voluson E8 with PACS storage and real time central monitor. Consultations are also available with an on-staff PhD genetic counselor, when needed. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to be part of an established practice.

This position will be employed by Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, a regional health system of Trinity Health and an affiliate of Loyola Medicine.
