Job summary

Advantia Health in Silver Spring, MD and Alexandria, VA, is seeking compassionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians. The role is outpatient-focused with some inpatient consultations, Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts, supported by a skilled clinical team.

Board-certified in OB/GYN with MFM eligibility is required; MD license in MD/VA/DC preferred. We offer a competitive compensation range, comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, and a strong provider network.

Qualifications

• Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active Medical License in the State of Maryland/Virginia/DC is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform both minor and major surgical procedures.
• Prevent, diagnose, and treat a full range of OB/GYN conditions.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to medical staff including nurses and medical assistants, ensuring adherence to procedures and protocols.
• Support enhancements of technology to drive higher quality and consumer experience while maintaining clinical quality.
• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Participate in internal quality-improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to drive improvements.
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient consultations.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, supported by a highly skilled clinical team.
• Manage high-volume ultrasound services, including interpreting fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, and performing amniocentesis (CVS experience valued).
• Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST, biophysical profile

• Participate actively in internal quality-improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to drive proactive improvements.

• Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient consultations.

• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, supported by a highly skilled clinical team.

• Manage high-volume ultrasound services, including interpreting fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, fetal anatomic surveys, and performing amniocentesis (CVS experience valued but not required).

Annual Compensation Range based on years of experience: $325,000 -$475,000
