Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise, Idaho, invites a fellowship-trained MFM physician to join a well-established practice. The role supports two MFM physicians, a genetic counselor and Sonographers across Boise and Nampa, with a Monday–Friday schedule and consultative weekend calls.

Ideal candidates hold MD/DO, completed MFM fellowship, and Idaho licensure with hospital privileges. Sign-on, relocation, CME andmalpractice coverage are part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of ACGME/AOA OB/GYN residency.
• Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine completed or in progress.
• Board certification or eligible within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure with privileges at SARMC-Boise and SAMC-Nampa.
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Join two MFM physicians and other staff at the Boise practice and cover Nampa.
• Participate in multidisciplinary L&D rounds with the team.
• Maintain licensure, privileges and high-quality patient care.

Job description

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 500+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join a well-established practice located in Boise, Idaho.

The selected candidate will join two MFM physicians, one genetic counselor and five Sonographers at the practice in Boise and will also cover Nampa. Labor and Delivery (L&D) rounds are multidisciplinary in nature and attended by MFM, OB Hospitalists, L&D Unit Coordinator, L&D Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Nurses, Pharmacists, Social Worker, Case Manager and often both Nursing and Pharmacy students.

The schedule is a typical workweek, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with 32 patient facing hours per week. The call schedule is consultative call including weekends, 1:2 or 1:3, or equally shared among the provider group. There are no in-house calls or deliveries.

Support includes a Level III+ NICU that provides 24-hour comprehensive specialty care for premature and high-risk infants delivered at SARMC or transported to SARMC NICU, as well as the sickest of full-term infants. On-site Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Gastroenterology, 24-hour Anesthesia, Radiology and Emergency Medicine coverage. On-campus OB/GYN clinic with 20 providers and a community network of employed and allied primary & specialty care clinics. We use View Point Perinatal Ultrasound Reporting System and EPIC EMR.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
• Board Certification, or obtain certification within 3 years of employment
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise and SAMC-Nampa
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
