Job summary

Delta Utilities is seeking a Technician, Materials to perform warehousing functions at a centralized location supporting district operations in Mississippi. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, issuing materials, and entering Oracle/mainframe records to document receipts and issues.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in warehousing, with forklift experience preferred. OSHA/safety awareness and ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in warehousing operations supporting gas distribution systems.
• Be energetic and alert; able to work in unusual surroundings and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Issue material to employees or contractors and restock as needed.
• Receive material from vendors and inspect for discrepancies.
• Ship material to other locations and maintain logs and inventory records.
